AI Readiness Assessment / United States

An AI readiness assessment that tells you what to do first, what to wait on, and what to skip.

Our AI readiness assessment is the AI Architecture Assessment, a comprehensive engagement that ends in a prioritized plan for your business.

It’s built for mid-market owners, roughly $5M–$500M in revenue, who want an experienced read on where AI fits before they commit budget and team time. It is a paid engagement, and every engagement starts with a free Discovery Call.

What It Is

Our AI readiness assessment is the AI Architecture Assessment.

When owners search for an AI readiness assessment, they’re asking whether their business is ready for AI and what to do about it. At AI with Renew, the answer comes from the AI Architecture Assessment. It is a paid engagement and the starting point for most of the owners we work with.

It isn’t a checklist or a questionnaire. It’s an honest, experienced evaluation of where you stand and what’s worth pursuing. Some businesses are ready for immediate implementation. Some need to solve more foundational problems first. We tell you the truth either way, including when that truth is to wait.

If you want to know what any good readiness assessment should examine, we wrote that up in What an AI Readiness Assessment Looks At (And Why). This page covers how ours runs.

What It Looks At

The business as it actually operates.

We look at how your business runs day to day, where the bottlenecks are, and where your team spends time on work that doesn’t require human judgment. Then we ask where AI could realistically create value, and where it can’t yet.

We also look at your current architecture, meaning the technology, the team and the process, so the recommendations fit what your business can absorb. A good idea your systems or your people can’t support yet goes on the wait list, and we say so.

How It Runs

A series of structured working sessions, typically four to eight weeks.

It begins with a free 30-minute Discovery Call, where every engagement at AI with Renew starts. If there’s a clear opportunity, we talk about what the right engagement looks like. If there isn’t, or you’d be better served by something else, we tell you that too.

The assessment itself is a comprehensive engagement, a series of structured working sessions with your leadership team, virtual or in person, typically four to eight weeks depending on the size and complexity of the business. The fee is fixed and sized to the complexity of your business and the outcome you’re after. We discuss it on the Discovery Call.

What You Walk Away With

Prioritized recommendations and a plan you can act on.

A clear picture of where AI can create real value in your specific operation. A straight read on your technology, team and process. Prioritized recommendations on what to do first, what to wait on, and what to skip.

And a practical next-steps plan you can act on, with us or on your own. If you decide to go further, the next step is an integration roadmap and implementation, covered in our AI strategy consulting overview and on our services page. You’re never locked into more than the step in front of you.

Who It Is For

Mid-market owners who want the truth before they commit.

It’s for owners of mid-market companies, roughly $5M–$500M in revenue, who want an experienced read on AI before committing budget and team time. You don’t need to be technical. We translate.

It’s probably not for a solo operator or a Fortune 500 company, and we’ll say so on the first call. It’s also not a sales step. If you’d be better served by something else, we’ll tell you that.

Much of who we work with is Christian business owners. AI with Renew was built with them in mind, for people who want to adopt AI thoughtfully, without compromising their values or chasing hype.

Free Starting Points

Two ways to begin before you commit to anything.

The AI Capability Score is a free five-minute tool. You answer four questions about how much AI you use today, your goals, your team’s confidence and your biggest challenge, and you get a score and a baseline. It’s a useful way to get oriented, and the AI Architecture Assessment builds on it with a full look at your business.

The Discovery Call is the other. It’s a free 30-minute conversation about your business, and it’s where every engagement starts.

Common Questions

Questions We Hear a Lot

Is the AI Capability Score the same as the AI readiness assessment?

No. The AI Capability Score is a free five-minute tool that gives you a baseline. Our AI readiness assessment is the paid AI Architecture Assessment, a fuller look at how your business operates, ending in prioritized recommendations.

How do I know if I’m ready for AI, or if I should wait?

That is exactly what the AI Architecture Assessment is for. We’ll give you a clear answer either way, including telling you to wait if that’s the right call. We’d rather lose the project than sell you something you’re not ready for.

How do you approach AI with faith-aligned values?

Honestly, and without overcomplicating it. We’re not going to bolt scripture onto a technology decision. What faith-alignment means in practice is that we won’t push you toward AI that treats your people as disposable, cuts corners on honesty, or chases efficiency at the expense of what matters in your business.

What size of business do you work with?

Mid-market companies with real employees, real customers and real operational complexity, roughly $5M–$500M in revenue. Big enough that AI can create meaningful leverage, but not so large that you already have an internal AI team. If you’re a solo operator or a Fortune 500, we’re probably not the right fit, and we’ll tell you so.

Start With a Conversation.

The best way to find out what you need is to talk about where you are. A free 30-minute Discovery Call, just the two of you talking it through.
