AI Strategy Consulting / United States
AI strategy consulting that ends in a working implementation, not a document.
AI with Renew helps mid-market owners decide where AI belongs in the business, then builds it alongside the team.
We work with mid-market companies, roughly $5M–$500M in revenue, with real employees, real customers and real operational complexity. Big enough for AI to create meaningful leverage, and too small to have an internal AI team. We work with businesses across the country.
What It Means
AI strategy consulting, as we practice it.
Most AI strategy work ends in a document. A strategy is worth what it changes in how the business runs. At AI with Renew, strategy and implementation are one engagement, and the strategy is the first part of it.
We start by working out where AI can realistically help in your specific operation, and where it can’t yet. That means looking at how work moves through the business, where your team spends time on work that doesn’t need human judgment, and what your technology and people can support today. Then we build the roadmap, and we help carry it out.
Some businesses are ready to move right away. Some have foundational problems to solve first. We tell you the truth either way, including when the answer is to wait.
How an Engagement Runs
Five steps. You are never committed to more than the next one.
1. Discovery Call
Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute conversation about your business. What it does, how it operates, what’s working and what isn’t. We’ll also say plainly whether we’re the right fit. It’s two business people talking.
2. AI Architecture Assessment
A comprehensive engagement, a series of structured working sessions with your leadership team, virtual or in person, typically four to eight weeks depending on the size and complexity of the business. We look at how the business actually operates and where AI could realistically create value. This is the paid first step for most owners, and it is our AI readiness assessment.
3. Integration roadmap
For owners who want to go further, we build a detailed roadmap specific to your business, prioritized by impact and feasibility.
4. Implementation
We work alongside your team, configuring tools, building workflows, training people and troubleshooting the surprises. The work typically runs 60 to 120 days depending on scope, and we stay until the new processes run without us. More on that is on our AI implementation consulting page.
5. Ongoing advisory
Monthly strategic sessions, direct access for questions as they come up, and support for new initiatives. It suits owners who want an experienced perspective on call while the tools keep changing.
Each step is sized to the complexity of your business and the outcome you’re after, and we talk through fees on the Discovery Call. The full picture of how we work is on our services page.
Who It Is For
Owners who want a decision they can act on.
Our clients are mid-market companies with real operational complexity, big enough for AI to matter and without an internal AI team. If you’re running a business that size and you’re somewhere between curious and overwhelmed about AI, this is the conversation we’re built for. For the view specific to mid-sized companies, read our page on AI strategy for mid-sized companies.
You don’t need to be technical. Our work is grounded in 30+ years working directly with business owners across operations, financial advising, and consulting, so we think like operators, not engineers.
Much of who we work with is Christian business owners. AI with Renew was built for people who want to adopt AI thoughtfully, without compromising their values or chasing hype. We won’t push you toward AI that treats your people as disposable or cuts corners on honesty.
What You Walk Away With
Something you can act on, with us or without us.
A clear picture of where AI can create real value in your specific operation. A straight read on your current technology, team and process. Prioritized recommendations on what to do first, what to wait on, and what to skip.
And a practical next-steps plan. If you move into implementation, it becomes the roadmap we build from. If you’d rather act on your own, it stands by itself. Not sure where you stand yet? The free AI Capability Score takes five minutes and gives you a baseline.
Common Questions
Questions We Hear a Lot
What size of business do you work with?
Mid-market companies with real employees, real customers and real operational complexity, roughly $5M–$500M in revenue. Big enough that AI can create meaningful leverage, but not so large that you already have an internal AI team. If you’re a solo operator or a Fortune 500, we’re probably not the right fit, and we’ll tell you so.
I’m not technical. Will I be able to keep up?
Yes. Our job is to translate, not to impress you with jargon. You don’t need to understand how the technology works under the hood. You need to understand what it can do for your business and what it will take to get there.
Do you work with Christian business owners?
Yes. That’s much of who we work with. AI with Renew was built with Christian, mid-market business owners in mind: people running real companies who want to adopt AI thoughtfully, without compromising their values or chasing hype. The work itself is practical and applies to any mid-market operator. The shared values just make the conversations easier.
How do I know if I’m ready for AI, or if I should wait?
That is exactly what the AI Architecture Assessment is for. Some businesses are ready for immediate implementation. Some need to fix more foundational problems first. We’ll give you a clear answer either way, including telling you to wait if that’s the right call. We’d rather lose the project than sell you something you’re not ready for.
